How to Enroll

 

 

Who can apply?

 

Harmony School of Advancement is an open-enrollment charter school. Students who lives in Harris County and will attend 9 through 12th grades for the next school year (2010-2011) from all school districts can apply for enrollment.

 

 

Tuition-Free:

Harmony School of Advancement is a tuition-free charter school.

 

Criteria for Admission:

There is no testing or qualification required to attend Harmony School of Advancement. Timely application and availability of space are the determining factors for enrollment.

 

 

 

Lottery:

Any student who lives in the area and who submits a timely application may attend Harmony School of Advancement. If the number of applications exceeds the school's capacity, applicants will be selected through a lottery process.

 

 

 

 

How to apply?

On the main web page of the school, click on "Apply Online" page under "Admission" menu.  At this time, we only accept online applications for the next school year. .

 

Enrollment Checklist

Once your child is admitted to the school, the following documents are required for enrollment.  information is required:

  • Birth certificate,
  • Proof of residency (copy of a utility bill showing parents’ name on it)
  • Application Form
  • Enrollment Form
  • Copy of student's last report card,
  • Copy of the most recent TAKS scores (or Stanford ),
  • Copy of Social Security Card,
  • Copy of Special Education Reports (if applicable),
  • Complete immunization records (date, month and year of every immunization received),
  • Proof of withdrawal from your child's former school.

 

Other necessary forms will be provided by the registration office.
